Meet Karlie from Smithson Valley High School!
Karlie is a dedicated cheerleader, both on the sidelines and competitively. Not only has she been a captain of the SVHS Cheer team, she's also been a part of the Champions All Stars competitive team for an impressive 10 years!
Outside of cheer, Karlie's interests include enjoying the beach, attending country music concerts, spending quality time with friends, watching various sports, indulging in sushi and snow cones, and of course, playing with her beloved dogs.
Karlie is actively involved in her school community, participating in organizations like FACS, NHS, and the American Sign Language Club, where she's honed her skills over four years.
Among her proudest achievements are winning the NCA championship four times and being part of the impactful Shattered Dreams production at SVHS.
After graduation, Karlie plans to attend Texas A&M University, majoring in Tourism and Hospitality Management, with dreams of one day owning her own business.
Her favorite Bible verse, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." (Exodus 14:14), inspires her to stay strong and steadfast in her journey.
What sets Karlie apart is her commitment to learning American Sign Language throughout her high school years, a unique skill that reflects her compassion and inclusivity.
During her Senior Portrait Session, Karlie had a blast capturing memories, especially while surrounded by the Bluebonnets and trying to get the butterflies to land and pose in the photos.
Karlie, your dedication, passion, and kindness shine bright! We can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll accomplish in the future. Congrats, Karlie!
